Mantras
Mantras are repetitive invocations or praise which invoke the God or Goddess in question in their aspected forms. In this way, a God or Goddess is named, called upon, and brought into focus in the mind of the meditator. Mantras are meant to set the mind into a particular state, with a particular focus, and for a particular purpose, to meditate on their nature, their presence, and their effect on you. I believe that through this kind of exploration, we can make of ourselves much better people. Calmer, brighter, more open to the world around us without the need for harsh medications to quell the turmoil of our inner minds.
