Day Eight
This day of transitions is celebrated in honor of Apollo and Dionysos to celebrate the transition of power in holy Delphi as Apollo leaves and dionysos arrives to take his place on the throne of the holy site.
The Lesser Dionysia is celebrated during this time as well, and this day in the Heliogenna festival pays honor to that festival as well as to the traditions of transition in Delphi.
Celebrate in Dionysiac manner. Drink, dance, and be merry, and let the God take you where he will.
