Day Seven
The first day of the SunriseTriumphant and bright, the sun god rises once more into the heavens. His stay in the underworld short, he has arisen to watch over the life of the earth.
Selene, Eos, Hyperion, and Apollo are celebrated with wild reverie. Dancing, fireworks, and exultations of his power and glory are sung into the sky for him to hear as he rises into the sky toward the coming Spring.
The Sunrise marks another change in the festival. This third and last phase moves from the sombre to the clearly celebratory and just plain fun. Merriment is the rule. Laughter, drinking, dancing, making love.
Hope returns, and with it laughter.
