Spring 2008 is on its way, and Anthesteria is come and gone, and I cold not devote much time to its celebration this year. But I can still give Dionysos his due in the celebration of the Dionysia ta Astika (The City Dionysia) the Asklepeia (In honor of the hero Asklepios, the healer) and the Mounichia as Spring comes and opens up the world once more.
Further, I incorporate into my practices the celebration of Persephone's Return, which may be a much more neo-pagan kind of thing, but which works for my environment, in which this time of year is representative of the return of the flowers, and life to the verdant world around us.
March 15 - 16: Asklepeia
March 17 - 25: Dionysia ta Astika, including the Spring Equinox celebrations.
April 21 - 22: Mounichia
